Method

  1. Crush green chillies, salt and asafoetida powder to a thick paste.
  2. Then mix up with the sieved flour.
  3. Squeeze the flour finely with butter, coconut milk and gingelly seeds.
  4. Make several small balls from the dough and stretch it on a clean cloth for about 2 hours.
  5. Then fry it in oil.
  6. Now the Kerala Cheeda is ready to be Served.
