Til Barfi Recipe




  1. Cook sesame seeds until good aroma comes from the seeds.
  2. Keep it aside.
  3. Next roast the groundnuts. Grind the roasted sesame seeds coarsely and grind the roasted groundnuts finely. Mix them all together.
  4. In a thick pan make thick sugar syrup.
  5. Mix the powdered sesame seeds and the groundnuts in the syrup. Mix it continuously until it no longer sticks to the edge.
  6. Spread the hot mixture on to a greased tray to about quarter inch thickness.
  7. Spray the grated copra on top.
  8. Slash into square or diamond shapes.
  9. Now the Till Barfi is ready to be served.
