Method

  1. Sieve the flour and bake it in a pan with 1/2 tea spoon ghee till it turns light brown on a medium flame.
  2. Take out the roasted flour in a plate. Now dispense water and sugar into the pan to boil.
  3. The quantity of water should be thrice the quantity of the flour. Once the sugar dissolve into the water put flour into it and mix slowly with the spoon.
  4. Mix chopped cashews and raisins into the halwa and mix well. Keep on stirring the halwa so that it do not attach at the bottom of the pan.
  5. Once the halwa gets thick in consistency pour the left over ghee into it and cook the halwa while stirring constantly. Turn off the flame and mix cardamom and ghee into the halwa.
  6. Wheat Flour Halwa is now all set to serve it in bowl and garnish with chopped cashews.
