Method

  1. Take the milk to boil in a broad bottomed non-stick pan.
  2. decrease the flame and cook on a slow flame till the volume is reduced to half, for approximately 1 hour
  3. Add the sugar and cook on a slow flame for 25 minutes or till the milk thicken like rabdi, stirring continuously and scraping on the sides of the pan.
  4. Add the cardamom powder and cook on a slow flame for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve warm or chilled, garnished with pistachio, almond slivers and saffron.
